It depends. Black and blue are good colors to combine, I think.
First off, I'll let you know that you have to bleach your hair to a level 7-10. (Yellow to platnium) The lighter you get your hair, the more intense and better the blue will come out. This can be VERY difficult to do on black hair, so use with caution. Especially if you already have color on your hair or if your hair is damaged in anyway.
You're going to need to go out and get some powdered bleach and a 40 volume developer at a beauty supply store. Follow the directions, as directions vary from each manufacture. After you hair has been bleached, apply the blue and follow the directions for processing.
I use loreal quick blue bleach and salon care 40 volume developer and beyond the zone in not so shy violet (for my purple highlights). All can be found at Sallys. That would be cool. And yes, coloring damages your hair. But so do straightening irons curling irons, and blow dryers
i think it looks really cool
and i do know that it does REALLY damage your hair b/c to get it blue you have to bleach it first and and really when you bleach anything you are damaging it. but if you have a good hair routine then i dont think it would do that much harm!
why dont u try temporary streaks go to sallys and get some wash out streaks in blue, before permanently doing it on your hair, good luck

well ive never highlighted my hair LIKE THAT before but i can give you a hair tip for guys and girls if anyone in your family has nail polish put that in your hair to highlight it much cheaper then a salon. i did this yesterday and hot pink looks great with brown hair if u got an electric blue nail polish it would be perfect for your hair. i haven't figured out a way to get it out yet becuz nail polish remover might bleach your hair but you could always take a number of showers within days till it comes out. I dont know yet though cuz i put it in my hair yesterday. well hope i could help

Regular antivirus programs will not catch spyware or adware because they do not spread on their own but rely on someone else to install them. The safest thing to do is to back up your important data, reformat the hard drive and re-install everything. If you don't do this, the spyware/adware has a good chance of coming back.

to be honest, neither would look that good.. i have blond hair, with black underneath.
in my opinion, the darker color should go under, with the lighter on top.
neon/retro colors always pop on dark colors.
if i were you i would reverse what you have and get the blond on top with the black under it.
but if you're staying with what you have, get like a bright neon blue.
the pink always fades quicker.

No not really. You should go for something burgandyish-red. Highlights only, or else it'll look sort of tacky. Don't make it look bright red. Just a burgandy sort of color. Nothing too tacky and colorful! My cousin tried to dye her hair something weird and it ended up PINK and it didn't look cute. So be careful.

Depends what color the rest of your hair is going to be. Black hair goes good with unnatural colored highlights, it gives you an edgier or punk look, depending on how you do it. Going with blonde hair would be kinda cool like in the movie Aquamarine. In brown hair it would probaly blend nicely as well like when Jojo does it in Aquamarine. Experiment and have fun!

How do I highlight my hair blue?
My hair is a fairly light shade of blonde all over, so it is already bleached so I won't have to worry about that step. I want it to last a few weeks to maybe a month or so, but I want it to wash out eventually on its own. Would that be a semi-permanant color? Which brand of color should I use? Preferabley something I could just pick up at Sally's.
Also, I was thinking only doing the underneath layers (close to the nape of my neck) or maybe a few streaks through my bangs and around the face, not all over highlights. Which do you think would look cuter? (pictures at myspace.com/ewtina)

When you visit Sally Beauty, look for Complements Blue Intensifier. Mix it with 20 volume creme developer like Pure White. (equal parts color to developer). Foil or weave this into your hair to create a blue deposit. Leave it in for 30 minutes and you will have deposited blue highlights in your hair.
If you are not comfortable with the foil/weave technique, just pull your blonde hair thru a highlighting cap, apply the blue mixture on top of the cap.
For something a little more temporary, pull your hair thru the cap and add Jazzing Mood Indigo. You don't have to add developer. Below are some links to these haircolors.

Ok basically i want to highlight the bottom layers of my hair a dark blue. Right now i'm asian and have dark brown hair (its natural) i have never dyed it, but i decided im going to.

1) its a waste of money
2) its bad for my hair
3) looking nice isnt my main concern because im a student. therefore the above 2 arent worth.
i'm like 14 already, and i know so many people who can just do whatever they want to their hair without even telling their parents.
and the thing is my mum herself has got highlights and permed hers.. so why cant i? Do you think i should just go ahead and do it myself so it will be too late for her to stop me?

i dye my hair every 6 weeks, and even when i dont need it done i still do it because it puts my hair is so much better condition, dying your hair a colour like blue will not ruin your hair! only blonde colours do because they contain bleach, so tell your mum it doesnt damage your hair, save up for it yourself, and then she hasnt got to complain about it being her money, and tell her you feel ugly or something and you got a low self esteem because your mates have pretty hair and u dont, or something like that then that all of them solved. or just go do it, your 14 , old enough i been dyin my hair since year 8, so i was 12-13 dont listen to herI want to highlight my hair blue but my mum wont let me..?

Go to start-control panel-system. Go to the 'advanced' tab, and from there choose 'settings' under 'performance'. then at the new window that is displayed, tick ';use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop. Hope you got it.
