Why does some peoples names on facebook come up as normal text instead of highlighted blue? When i hover over some names it comes up as normal text like your reading now which doesnt let meclick on it and add them...is it because they blocked me? im not sure because some ex girlfriends are like it but also some people ive never even met are too!Facebook name text - Why are some names not highlighted blue and just normal text?

They have their privacy settings set so that NOBODY can find them, add them, or look at their profile.
Only they can add other people, at which point you'll have access to their profile and they'll show up in searches.
normal text means u can't go to their wall. they have to send YOU the friend request.
