Is there a way to get blue highlights without bleaching your hair.?

my aunt is a cosmetologist and she said the only way i can get blue highlights would be to bleach it or get temporary highlights that would just wash right out but i don't want either. is there any other way? i was thinking extensions but i have really curly hair and i don't know i just don't think it would look right. if you have suggestions or know another way please let me know. thanks!Is there a way to get blue highlights without bleaching your hair.?

Eh..Forgot to mention...No, You won't have to bleach your hair if you have blond hair, UNLESS it's a dark blonde, then it might not show up bright enough.

Blue Color will not show up on dark hair..It may give it a tint, But it won't show up, So you would have to bleach your hair.

I bleached the under sides of my hair and dyed them blue. It later turn torquise and a nasty green haha and now it's back to blonde but idk what to do with it:/


i don't know if i want to dye it back to it's normal color or put pink in it. But the problem now is trying to find a nice hair dye that is hot pink or blue that with work efficently!

No. You can't put blue over anything darker than blonde. Unless you want to put that halloween fake stuff in that will wash out right away.


So, your aunt (who is a pro, I don't see why you wouldn't trust her) is right.
