no no no no no no no!!!! if you're going to get blue highlights, your hair must be almost/or black. it'll only look good if it's a tint. as in when it's in the sunlight you can see that it's blue. i've got purple in my hair, and it'll only look good if it blends. you've GOT to have dark dark hair.

I don't think they'd stand out as much as you'd like them to. Blue highlights would look better on a darker brunette.
