Can I put blue highlights on my brown hair without bleaching it?

I have brown hair with natural blonde, red, and lighter brown highlights. I want to put a semi-permanent or Demi-permanent Blue color on my hair without having to bleach it.Can I put blue highlights on my brown hair without bleaching it?
I'm no hair dresser but I've been dying my hair different colors for years and I can say that it will not turn out the way you want it without bleaching.





I would still try it with something that washes out... Manic Panic seems to cover pretty well without bleaching. The point of bleaching before you do that is so you can start with a clean pallet, you know? The worst that can happen with Manic Panic is that it will be less vibrant than you wanted.. otherwise, I bet it works great!Can I put blue highlights on my brown hair without bleaching it?

if you dont use something semi permanent, you will need a developer with a very high lift since going blue will most likely be a lighter shade than your current one. go to sally's, theyre very knowledgable
