I want to add blue highlights to dark hair?

So I just yesterday recolored my hair back to just a basic black, my natural color. I was wondering how long should I wait before bleaching just a very few highlights framing my face to color them blue? I wanted to do it within two weeks. Possible?


My hair has no relaxer in the roots, just color. It had bleached highlights in it before for about a month, and did fine healthwise.I want to add blue highlights to dark hair?
At LEAST a month, also, make sure you BLEACH them and don't be disapointed if the blue doesn't stick, some chemicals in dark hair give blues, greens, and purples trouble. I tried all 3 of those colors in my dark hair and they all faded in at LEAST a week and looked bad.

I think that blue highlights are really nice especially when your hair colour is black. I think you should wait a bit longer than 2 weeks, so people can get used to u with plain black hair and when u do the highlight, ur frineds will be surprised. :)
You can do the bleach and color all at the same time...You don't have to wait several months or whatnot..
