Can I put Red or blue highlights in my black dyed hair without bleaching it?

I don't want to bleach my hair.


or gradually dye my hair to make it lighter.

I know The Blue wont show up very well.





But I'm just looking for something that will show up when I am directly under the light..and not show up when I'm not under the light.Can I put Red or blue highlights in my black dyed hair without bleaching it?

Than just die a blue/red/whatever over it. It will be a tint and look good! I have a purple tint, not very noticable.Answer mine?
