Ok i hav dark brown hair not really dark but dark and i want to get a blue highlight... wat should i do???

ok well i hav semi-dark brown hair, it is not chocolate brown and it not light brown its in between and i want to get a blue highlight. not i bright one but a more suttle darker toned blue. any tips of wat i should do so that it wont turn any other color???Ok i hav dark brown hair not really dark but dark and i want to get a blue highlight... wat should i do???
I personally think the blue would look best with darker brown hair so maybe you should consider dying it darker. Also I think the blue would look good underneath your hair.





Go to sallys and pick out the color and ask them for directions on how to do it- Theyll know. If you dont want a friend doing it, def try a perfessional but itll cost more

Blue's a striking colour in dark hair, but rather than doing it yourself perhaps going to a hairdressers is your best bet, not only will they know what to do but also they can give you tips on how to maintain that colour so it doesn't fade, and they use the best dyes aswell. But if you'd rather not have it quite so permanent, blue extensions are great! They can be removed for a more formal occasion, and worn when you want to look great!

you should section out that hair that u want highlighted, and bleach it (u can get bleach kits at rite aid and places like that or your local beauty supply store). bleach until its a pale yellow color. then, you will want to use the blue shade you've selected and apply that to the streak. but just to let you know, blue is a very hard color to keep (it turns green rather quickly) so if you want to keep it vibrant you'll have to dye it rather often (2 times a month maybe??). whatever you choose, good luck 2 u :)
i wouldnt recomend putting PERMANET blue highlights in your hair...what if you dont like it???? there is clip in clored hairextensions that i have from hot topic... i wear them every day and they have two different colors of blues so ya heres there link

To get a good color blue you will need to bleach the hairs you want blue. But this can do alot of damage to make sure you really want it, also you don't need bleach but it want have that much of a punch to it. Hope this helps. Good luck
Go to a professinal. But if you dont want to do that you would fist need to bleach the part of your hair that you want blue
You can get hair color in a can and spray it on. It washes out easily so your hair wont turn colors and its not permanent.
