Would blue highlights look good in brown hair?

I have long brown hair that goes to the middle of my back. It's like the color of Katie Holmes. Well I wanna get blue highlights, would it look good?

my natural hair color is chestnut brown hair. Well, about two weeks ago I dyed it midnight blue. The blue tint in it only lasted a few days. The bottle said it would last from 5-40 washings.





2 weeks later, my hair is now black with a little bit of brownish-green seen in it... and no, I didn't re-dye my hair. The midnight blue wasn't worth it!





If I could do it all over again, I would have 1st lightened my hair (like ash blonde or something) %26amp; then tried a crispier blue (like Billy Armstrong's from Green Day back in the late '90s).
depends on what color of a brown. is it dark? if it is than a azure blue would be good. but in general blue highlights would be good on brown hair, but pink or orange would be better and cuter.
yes i think it would look good because brown is a darkish colour it's not like putting blonde and blue, not too keen on the blue streak but if you like it then go for it!
yeah blue highlights would be great, especially for brown hair. It sounds like you're going for an outgoing look, blue's always great for that.
