On my Desktop , The Icons are highlighted in Blue. How do i remove the highlight?

Go to control panel,


click on system,


advanced,


against performance click on settings,


click on


let windows choose what's best for my computer.


click ok.


Ensure, all items in performance window are enabled.


Alternatively, enable-


use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop,

it's a windows thing. even if you change the selected items color(mine is tan) It will still show as blue. usaully just the desktop
